Sin embargo, algunas personas me habéis solicitado sugerencias para, en esos ratos que irán surgiendo a lo largo del verano, poder "vitaminar" el English.



Qué más quiere un profe que interés por su asignatura... ¡os dejo un documento con "un pallet" de ideas!

18th May - International Museum Day and new content on LH

International Museum Day is an international day held annually on 18th May, coordinated by the International Council of Museums (ICOM).

Os he preparado una actividad en familia. Aquí debajo tenéis un collage con 9 importantes (y muy conocidas) obras de arte. Para hacer el juego un poco más complicado, les he puesto una especie de EPIs a las figuras retratadas. No estamos para dejar a nadie desprotegido...


¿Cuántas sabríais identificar? Autor, nombre de la pintura, museo en el que se encuentra...

Si alguien se atreve, ya sabéis mi correo para mandarme respuestas.

Monday (again). Do you know it's called Monday?

The Babylonians invented our modern week. The named their days after the five planetary bodies know to them: Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, as well as the Sun and the Moon.

Sin embargo, en lo que hoy es el Reino Unido, tras la retirada de los romanos, se hicieron fuertes los anglo-sajones. Estos, eran "familia" de los Vikingos y utilizaron nombres de los dioses de su mitología para los nombres de los días del martes al viernes.

Monday gets its name from the Anglo-Saxon word "mondandaeg" which translates to "the moon's day. Girls born on Mondays were given the name Mona in Ancient Britain, as it was the Old English word for moon.
